This cute walk is tucked away down a narrow path near Muckross House. The trail meanders through woodland before opening up to reveal the majestic Muckross Lake. Keep following the path to Dundag Beach and take a refreshing dip to blast away those cobwebs. If you do go for a swim, please exercise caution and don’t go alone.

 

Walk Aghadoe to the Fossa Way

Start from the graveyard in Aghadoe and take in the view of Killarney’s Lakes laid out below. Follow the ancient Béithrin na Marbh (Little Road of the Dead) down the hill and link up to the Fossa Way. The urban woodland track will take you through the Killarney National Park all the way back into Killarney town.
